Bull Fighters is the combat sports side of a gym in Illescas, between Madrid and Toledo. The training was already there: martial arts and contact sports. The brand was not. The logo it wore belonged to the gym's fitness line, a fitness badge on a fighting gym.
Build the brand up, and keep it clearly apart from the fitness side. Hardly anyone found them on Google and the old site didn't work on a phone, so the website and the search work went on the list too. What they needed before any of that was material of their own: in 2024 there was nothing filmed.
We need sign-ups up to the level that makes this profitable, and as soon as possible.
So we started with the camera, not the browser. Without footage of their own, any site we built would have been a template with stock images dropped into it. There was no archive to fall back on and no established roster to film, so every shot was created for this: the sessions themselves and the cutaways a promo usually borrows from a library.
Plays, shares and likes all climbed, and so did the thing that pays the bills: between the two brands, the gym went from 10–12 sign-ups a week to more than 40.
The new logo gave the combat sports side a face of its own, apart from the fitness brand, and it keeps working where their people are: the day-to-day runs on their Instagram rather than on a website. The part we like best is that they publish on their own now, without calling us.
The video first, then the identity it belongs to. That was the order, and it turned out to be the whole job.
Gyms, clubs and academies: if there's nothing to show yet, we start by making it.
