El Jardín de La Lola is a steakhouse in Madrid. When they came to us there was nothing at all: no logo, no photographs, no website, no way to book a table. The restaurant itself was still being built.
We have nothing done and we need you to do all of it, as soon as possible.
The identity, the photography, the video, the website and the bookings all took shape while the kitchen, the menu and the dining room were still being decided. Nothing could be photographed before it existed, so the work moved as the building did.
What came out of it was one restaurant with one voice, on the plate and on the screen.
From 2016 to 2023 the website was rebuilt three times as the restaurant grew and the way people book and browse changed. Same restaurant, three generations of website, each one keeping what worked and dropping what no longer did.
Bookings went through an online engine wired into the site, so a table could be taken at midnight without anybody picking up the phone, and the restaurant kept its diary in one place.
It worked from the opening week. The photography and the video travelled: sharing was high from day one and the posts pulled thousands of likes a day. The dining room was full from the first day to the last.
The part that says most about it: the restaurant sent us clients of its own. Several of the projects that came after this one arrived as a recommendation from El Jardín de La Lola.
Everything they asked for, and then seven years of looking after it. A restaurant that opened with a full identity instead of building one on the way.
Restaurants, bars and hotels: the best time to call us is before the doors open, not after.
